Terms of sale and use

Basics, Premium and Ultra subscriptions

Subscription sales are not open yet: no subscription payment can be initiated. These terms will apply to subscriptions taken out on talkytext.com once sales open.

• Plans: Basics, Premium and Ultra, each with every feature of the previous one, as shown in the plan table on the day of subscription. At most 10 active devices per account, computers and phones combined, and one live dictation at a time per account.
• Prices: USD 6.99, 14.99 and 29.99 per month, including every tax NOVA2G must collect; the bank may charge exchange fees.
• Term and payment: open-ended, paid in advance every month on the anniversary date of the subscription, by card through Stripe.
• Trial: 7 days with Ultra, without payment, never turned into a subscription by itself. Subscribing during the trial loses nothing: the trial keeps Ultra until its end.
• Change of plan: an upgrade is immediate, with the prorated difference on the next invoice; a downgrade is immediate, with a prorated credit.
• Declined payment: Stripe retries the payment for up to 14 days while the plan stays open, then the subscription ends.
• Cancellation: at any time with “Cancel subscription” in My account; effective at the end of the paid period and confirmed by email. Deleting the account ends the subscription at once, without refund of the current period, after a warning.
• Price increase: announced by email at least 30 days in advance, with the option to cancel before.
• Changes to the plans: features may be added; none is removed from a running subscription.
• Withdrawal: 14 days from the subscription. With the express request for immediate access, the part of the month already elapsed remains due; without it, the withdrawal is refunded in full. Withdraw from the contract here.
• Store purchases: in the App Store, Google Play or the Microsoft Store, at the same reference price, payment, invoices, renewal, cancellation, refunds and withdrawal follow the store’s terms; TalkyText applies its decisions. An account keeps one paid subscription at a time.

Recording other people

You are responsible for informing the people you record with TalkyText (meeting, note or file) and for obtaining their consent before remembering their voice with known voices.

Historical lifetime licence contracts — 28 August 2026 version

The terms below describe one-time purchases already concluded (version 2026-08-28-simple-checkout). They are not a current sales offer. Lifetime licences grant Premium under their original conditions. Their dated copy remains available at the end of this page.

Trial and purchase

TalkyText can be downloaded and tried without an account or card. The trial starts when the device is first validated by the server, lasts exactly 24 hours, does not restart after reinstallation and never becomes a paid order automatically. An account is created only if you choose to buy.

The offer is international wherever Stripe and applicable rules allow the transaction: USD 39.90 for the first computer and USD 19.90 for each additional computer. The final price is charged immediately, with no subscription or automatic renewal. Any tax the seller must collect is included in those amounts. Stripe collects the final address for tax treatment, invoicing and fraud prevention; it does not change the base USD price. A bank may apply its own conversion or foreign-exchange fees. The numbered invoice and fixed contract copy are sent on a durable medium and kept in the account.

Refund before the 15-day deadline

The original buyer may request a full refund from My account at any instant strictly before the deadline falling exactly 15 days after payment. Stripe returns it to the original payment method; banking time may extend beyond approval. The refund disables every licence in the order.

The purchased licence remains owned with no subscription or time limit, but its signed local authorization is valid for no more than 24 hours and must be renewed online both during and after this window. TalkyText normally attempts renewal every six hours while it remains open and requires an online check after restart. It cannot move to another computer or be transferred during the refund window. This commercial guarantee removes no statutory right.

Withdrawal and statutory guarantees

Acceptance of the terms permits immediate delivery without waiving withdrawal rights. An unequivocal statement can be sent by post, email or through the permanent withdrawal function. The commercial button ending does not close statutory withdrawal, conformity or hidden-defect rights, or access to human review.

Licence, technology and redress

One licence corresponds to one active computer. Every concurrently used computer needs a seat. My account displays each licence and its corresponding device. After release, reassignment and transfer wait for the former device's exact signed-authorization expiry, no more than 24 hours, to prevent overlap. Transfers, Windows/macOS/ Linux requirements, updates, third-party components, responsibilities, guarantees, archiving and redress are stated word for word in the fixed contractual copy below.

If an optional update has a non-minor adverse impact, the consumer may refuse or uninstall it and terminate the contract free of charge no more than thirty days after that decision. This remedy does not apply to updates necessary to maintain conformity.
